Athletics have become, over the last<br />
few vears. a battleground, more or<br />
less, between the participants where<br />
injuries are becoming an ever increasing<br />
sight on the playing field<br />
Battleground is a most fitting word<br />
for the heavv contact sports such as<br />
football, but that sport ise not the only<br />
villian when it cOmrs to injuries. The<br />
semi-contact sports add to the injurv<br />

Injuries, it could be concluded, have<br />
become a major part of athletic life<br />
and the need to know about them is<br />
tremendous<br />
Two of the most common injuries in<br />
sports, according to Richard Milder,<br />
director of the Physical Therapy and<br />
Sports Medicine Clinic in Livonia, are<br />
