laterality of the palsy, etiology of sixth nerve dysfunction (traumatic, ischemic,<br />
infectious, idiopathic), angle of deviation at presentation, head posture,<br />
residual deviation at the end of 6 months (primary and secondary deviation as<br />
measured by prism bar cover test), positive FDT and type of treatment (vertical<br />
transposition with medial rectus recession v/s Botulinum toxin). Patients were<br />
followed one day, one week, six and twelve weeks following surgery. Visual<br />
acuity was measured using Snellen’s optotypes. Patients were divided into 2<br />
different groups; group A underwent surgical intervention with transposition<br />
with medial rectus recession, group B underwent muscle transposition with<br />
one dose (10-20 units) of Botulinum toxin injected into the MR muscle. Data<br />
