at Colonial<br />
NOTES<br />
Rory Sabbatini earned his fourth career <strong>PGA</strong><br />
<strong>TOUR</strong> victory at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at<br />
Colonial in his 217th career professional start on<br />
<strong>TOUR</strong> at age 31 years, one month and 25 days. The<br />
victory came one year, three months and eight<br />
days after his previous <strong>PGA</strong> <strong>TOUR</strong> title at the 2006<br />
Nissan Open. This also marked Sabbatini’s first<br />
career playoff victory, moving his <strong>TOUR</strong> playoff<br />
record to 1-1.<br />
Rory Sabbatini defeated Jim Furyk and Bernhard<br />
Langer on the first playoff hole. This was the first<br />
three-man playoff in tournament history.<br />
BERNHARD LANGER<br />
Rory Sabbatini, who entered the final round in a<br />
four-way tie for first place, became the sixth<br />
straight winner at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at<br />
Colonial to lead/share the lead heading into the<br />
final round.<br />
Rory Sabbatini became the first South African<br />
and the first Dallas/Fort Worth resident to win the<br />
Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial since David<br />
Frost captured the title in 1997.<br />
