NOTES
Tiger Woods became the first player to win
THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-
Cola multiple times when he won the 2007 title
at East Lake Golf Club. Woods also won the
tournament in 1999 at Champions Golf Club in
Houston. In his career, Woods has two wins and
six top-10 finishes in 11 starts in the event.
Tiger Woods’ winning score of 257 in 2007 was
the lowest 72-hole score in tournament history,
breaking the mark of 263 set by Bart Bryant in
2005. Woods also set a tournament record for
the lowest 54-hole score with his 191 total. The
old mark was 196 by Bart Bryant in 2005.
Tiger Woods’ total was the third lowest in TOUR
history, surpassed by Tommy Armour III’s record 254
at the Valero Texas Open and Mark Calcavecchia’s
256 at the Phoenix Open and equaled Mike
Souchak’s 257 total at the Texas Open.
