Henry Hughes Executive Vice President and Chief of Operations Henry Hughes joined the PGA TOUR in 1984 as the Director of Marketing for the TPC River Highlands after serving as Chairman of the Greater Hartford-Sammy Davis, Jr. golf tournament. In 1986, Henry came to TOUR Headquarters and has served in senior positions in Marketing, Championship Management and Tournament Business Affairs. In January 1999, he was named to the newly created post of Senior Vice President and Chief of Operations for the PGA TOUR. In 2006, he was named Executive Vice President and Chief of Operations for the PGA TOUR. All elements of the day-to-day management of PGA TOUR events are under his direction, including PGA TOUR Agronomy. Specifically, the Rules, Administration, Operations, Player Relations, ShotLink and Tournament Business Affairs departments report directly to him. Hughes reports to the Office of the Commissioner.
