6.1.1 Active CERCLIS
(1) - Exceeds USEPA AAI Standard
The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980
Information System (CERCLIS) provides information used by the USEPA to track
otherwise unmonitored hazardous waste sites and also report progress at sites where
mitigation and remediation efforts are underway. A search of the CERCLIS list, as viewed
using the EDR Report dated January 6, 2012, did not reveal any sites within the
approximate minimum search distance of one-half (½) mile of the subject property.
6.1.2 Former CERCLIS
CERCLIS also provides information on sites that have been investigated but have been
determined not to be potential candidates for National Priority List (NPL) listing by
USEPA. A search of the CERCLIS list, as viewed using the EDR Report dated January 6,
2012, did not reveal any sites within the approximate minimum search distance of one-half
(½) mile of the subject property.
6.1.3 CERCLIS NPL
The CERCLIS list also provides information on sites that appear on the NPL. The NPL is
the list of national priorities among the known releases or threatened releases of hazardous
