10.1 DATA GAPS
The possible presence of asbestos containing material (ACM) in the cement casing
of the steel pipe located on the subject does not likely impact the environmental
status of the subject property at this time. The exposed portion of the pipeline is in
good to very good condition. ACM present in the cement casing, if any, will not
present a REC unless there is significant damage to the cement casing.
Data gaps that were identified or activities not completed for this report are:
o Property title search- A property title search of the subject property was not included in the
scope to be completed by SMA, however the client provided SMA with copies of property
title search documents to include in this report.
o City Directory search-The subject property, adjacent properties and roads were not
identified in the available city directories. However, other historic information was
available, therefore the data gap is not significant.
o Sanborn Fire Insurance maps- The subject property did not lie within an area covered by
Sanborn Fire Insurance map. However, other historic information was available, therefore
the data gap is not significant.
11. CONCLUSIONS
SMA has performed this Phase I ESA in conformance with the scope and limitations of ASTM
Practice E 1527-05 and USEPA AAI rule for the subject property identified as a 281 acre tract of
land located within the western ½ of section 29, township 4 south, range 29 east in Greenlee
County, Arizona. Any exceptions to, or deletions from, this practice are described in Section 2.5
of this report. This Phase I Environmental Site Assessment has revealed no recognized
environmental conditions in connection with the subject property.
12. DEVIATIONS
Except for the limitations and exceptions discussed in Section 2.5 and data gaps discussed in
Section 10.1, this Phase I ESA complies with the ASTM Standard E 1527-05 and the USEPA
AAI rule.
13. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
No additional services beyond the scope of ASTM Standard E 1527-05 and the USEPA AAI rule
