Alexander Mechanical Contractors, Inc.
is a full service mechanical contractor,
performing work in the commercial,
industrial, institutional, government and
military markets. Established in 1998,
Alexander Mechanical employs a staff of
qualified engineers, LEED certified APs, detailers, and project
managers experienced a various areas of the construction
industry. Alexander Mechanical performs 60 percent of its
volume of work in the design build and design assist market,
with the remaining work in the plan and spec market.
Alexander Mechanical Contractors is signatory to Plumbers
Local #8, Pipefitters Local #533, Sheet Metal Workers Local
#2, Laborers Local #264 and Teamsters Local #541.

At Alexander Mechanical, we can assist architects in selecting
and designing a cost effective, and energy efficient HVAC

and plumbing system. Through reviewing, surveying and
analyzing a customer’s needs, we can develop economical
solutions for our customers.
We have in-house engineering resources, with a peer review
system for design/build projects. Each project is evaluated
objectively to determine features that create an effective
design.
We then analyze the design to ensure that it is consistent
with the construction budget and schedule. Our expertise
and capabilities enable us to perform complete design/build
services on a variety of commercial HVAC and plumbing
applications.
HISTORY
Alexander Mechanical Contractors is a
thirteen year old company, originally
located in Kansas City, Kansas in the
heart of Fairfax. Alexander Mechanical
in the past nine years has been able to
continually grow beyond its expectations,
increasing its need for larger facilities. Due to
that growth, Alexander Mechanical moved its operation from
Fairfax to 8744 East Alice in Kansas City, Missouri in 2004.
Out-growing that facility, it was decided it was time to secure
a permanent home for the company. In 2007, the Board
decided to purchase property and build its own facility. The
company moved into a temporary facility, while awaiting the
completion of their new facility that was completed in 2009.
The new home for Alexander Mechanical is located at Parvin
Road and Kentucky, in Kansas City, Missouri.
LEADERSHIP
Alexander Mechanical was established in 1998 by its current
President and CEO William Alexander. Joining Mr. Alexander
is David M. Doss, Vice President and licensed mechanical
engineer, and Wanda Alexander, Corporate Secretary/
Treasurer and Office Manager.
