Shop Watch: COASTLINE FISH & CHIP RESTAURANT, BLYTH Dominic’s problem was that with an ever increasing volume of product going through the shop he needed extra pan capacity, particularly for busy holiday periods and weekends, for his beachside restaurant/takeaway. He thought his only option was to take out his seven year old range and replace it with a larger range, which of course would have been comparatively costly. On a visit by Bill Shaw and Rick Higson, KFE’s Project Manager, the idea was floated to add the extension to the existing range, separately extracted but linked to the existing filtration system within the range already in the shop. 32 Issue 8 December 2011 Kiremko made the impossible possible This was the comment of Dominic Gregorio of Coastline Fish & Chip Restaurant following the installation last year of a new 3-Pan, 1 Chip Box, L-shaped Kiremko Island/Wall range, which was added to his existing 6-Pan Kiremko range. “Not possible” said Dominic, but it is now made, installed, commissioned and in his words he is “absolutely delighted with the finished product - it has increased the range’s capacity, increased my trade and at half the cost of completely changing the range. The measurements had to be exact as there wasn’t a millimetre to play with and from the front it looks like it was always one range. It really is a feat of superb measurement, installation and engineer expertise”. His final words were that he would not go past Kiremko for any other shops he might consider opening and would have no hesitation in offering people the chance to go and see what the finished range looks like.
