A business with long traditions<br />
Dockal <strong>Recycling</strong> <strong>GmbH</strong>, founded by Alfred Dockal in 1950, initially specialised in junk collection. Following steady growth<br />
over the years, today the company’s core business is collecting and recycling scrap iron and non-ferrous metals. It was<br />
taken over by the <strong>Loacker</strong> <strong>Group</strong> in 2008.<br />
Two briquetting presses<br />
<strong>Loacker</strong> <strong>Recycling</strong> operates two briquetting machines at the Frastanz facility, with an annual output of about 16,000<br />
tonnes. These are mainly used to compact steel swarf containing grinding sludge into mixed briquettes for use as feedstock<br />
by steelworks. They are also employed to recycle other forms of grinding sludge, grinding dust, scale and laser dust<br />
that contains iron.<br />
