PART F - CLASSIFICATION AND REMUNERATION<br />
43. Salary Increases<br />
43.1. Over the life <strong>of</strong> this agreement employees will recieve salary increases in accordance with<br />
schedule A.<br />
43.2. Salary rates during the life <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Agreement</strong> are specified in Attachment A.<br />
43.3. Unless otherwise specified, allowances outlined in this agreement will be adjusted in<br />
accordance with the salary increases outlined in 43.1.<br />
43.4. Employees whose salary does not align to a pay point within the new pay scales after<br />
applying the annual increase will be placed on the next highest point in the range.<br />
43.5. Unless the Secretary determines otherwise, an employee, whose salary prior to<br />
commencement <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Agreement</strong> exceeds the maximum pay point in DCCEE for that<br />
classification, the employee will remain on that salary on that salary until it is absorbed by<br />
DCCEE pay increases at the relevant classification level at which time the employee will<br />
move to the next pay point immediately above their current salary level.<br />
43.6. An employee will be paid fortnightly by electronic funds transfer into a financial institution<br />
account <strong>of</strong> the employee’s choice, based on the following formula:<br />

44.1. Remuneration for part time employees will be calculated as a pro rata <strong>of</strong> the appropriate<br />
salary rate indicated at Attachment A, based on the proportion <strong>of</strong> hours worked in<br />
comparison to full time hours.<br />
45. Casual Employees<br />
45.1. Casual employees are non-ongoing employees who are engaged to perform duties that are<br />
irregular or intermittent.<br />
45.2. Casual employees will receive a 20 per cent loading in lieu <strong>of</strong> paid leave (excluding long<br />
service leave) and public holidays in addition to their hourly rate <strong>of</strong> salary. A casual<br />
employee who is rostered to work on a day that falls on a public holiday, as identified in<br />
clause 20.1 <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Agreement</strong>, will receive payment for that day at their base rate <strong>of</strong> pay.<br />
46. Supported salary rates for employees with disability<br />
46.1. Employees who are eligible for a supported salary in accordance with the Special Supported<br />
Wage System (Employees with a Disability) Australian Pay and Classification Scale will be<br />
paid the applicable percentage <strong>of</strong> the relevant salary rate below for the work value they are<br />
