ATP World Tour Finals
It has previously been held New York and
Shanghai, but from 2009 2012 the ATP World
Tour Finals will be coming to London. The cream
of the tennis crop will be descending on the O2
Arena to fi ght for this prestigious end of year
trophy, which only eight players can qualify
for based on their performance over the last
12 months. The top of the game hasn’t been
so competitive for a long time, so this year’s
tournament should be ace.

Music Festival
Oslo’s annual gathering of
music stars will be bringing
over 300 world acts to the
stage this autumn, with
styles as diverse as fl amenco,
reggae and afrobeat. Artists
to look out for include
Spanish hip-hop/fl amenco
outfi t Ojos de Brujo
(pictured) and Nigerian
drummer Tony Allen
who have enjoyed sell-out
tours all year. Held in some
spectacular locations, the
festival looks set to be one
of the most eclectic of the
season, and a warm respite
from Norway’s winter cold.
