1 Note that these are minimum requirements. The consequences of incomplete notification are discussed in the preceding text.
2 Notification and consent will be required as part of any request for a surface facility approval associated with waste disposal. A
surface facility approval must be obtained from the ERCB’s Waste Operations Group and/or Alberta Environment before a waste
disposal well approval can be issued.
3 If a new emergency response plan (ERP) is needed or an existing ERP is updated, conduct notification for ERP purposes to all
potentially adversely affected parties and provide confirmation of no objection or concerns.
