32 Plants intended for planting (other than
seeds and plants in tissue culture) <strong>of</strong>
deciduous trees and shrubs, originating
in <strong>no</strong>n-European countries, other than
the Mediterranean countries
There is an <strong>of</strong>ficial statement that
a) the plants originate in a country k<strong>no</strong>wn to be
free from Thrips palmi Karny,
or
b) the place <strong>of</strong> production was found to be free
from Thrips palmi Karny at <strong>of</strong>ficial inspections
carried out at least monthly during the three
months prior to export,
or
c) the consignment has undergone appropriate
treatment to ensure freedom from
Thysa<strong>no</strong>ptera.
Without prejudice to the provisions and
requirements applicable to Annex 3, points 1.1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6.1, 6.2, 7, 8 and 9 and Annex 4A, points
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.1, 13.2, 14, 15.1, 15.2,
15.3, 16.1, 16.2, 16.3, 17, 18.5, 18.6, 18.7, 19.1,
19.2, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27.1, 27.2, 28,
29.2 and 30:
There is an <strong>of</strong>ficial statement that the plants
a) are free from any plant debris
and
b) have been grown in nurseries
and
c) have been inspected at appropriate times
and prior to export and found to be free from
any symptoms <strong>of</strong> harmful bacteria, viruses
and virus-like pathogens, and either found
free from any symptoms or signs <strong>of</strong> harmful
nematodes, insects, mites and fungi, or have
been subjected to appropriate treatment to
eradicate such organisms.
Without prejudice to the provisions and
requirements applicable to Annex 3, points 1.1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6.1, 6.2 and 9 and Annex 4A, points 7, 8,
9, 10, 11, 12, 13.1, 13.2, 14, 15.1, 15.2, 15.3,
16.1, 16.2, 16.3, 17, 18.5, 18.6, 28, 29.2, 30 and
31:
There is an <strong>of</strong>ficial statement that the plants are
dormant and are free from leaves, flowers and
fruits.
