6.3 Tubers <strong>of</strong> Solanum tuberosum L.
intended for planting (seed potatoes)
and plants intended for planting <strong>of</strong>
other species <strong>of</strong> Solanum L. which
form stolons or tubers, or hybrids <strong>of</strong>
these

Without prejudice to the provisions applicable to
Annex 4B, point 6.2:
Documentation must exist confirming that the tubers
or plants
a) originate from Norwegian material
or
b) are derived in direct line from material which has
been subjected to <strong>of</strong>ficial quarantine testing in
Norway using suitable methods, and which, by
these examinations, have been found free from
the pests specified in Annexes 1 and 2.
There is an <strong>of</strong>ficial statement that :
a) <strong>no</strong> signs <strong>of</strong> Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner) or
Spodoptera littoralis (Boisduval) have been
observed at the place <strong>of</strong> production since the
beginning <strong>of</strong> the last complete cycle <strong>of</strong> vegetation,
or
b) the plants have undergone appropriate treatment
against the said pests.
Without prejudice to the provisions applicable to
Annex 4B, point 7:
There is an <strong>of</strong>ficial statement that :
a) the plants are <strong>no</strong> more than third generation stock
derived from material found to be free from
Chrysanthemum stunt viroid by means <strong>of</strong>
virological tests, or directly derived from material
<strong>of</strong> which a representative sample <strong>of</strong> at least 10%
has been found to be free from Chrysanthemum
stunt viroid at an <strong>of</strong>ficial inspection carried out at
the time <strong>of</strong> flowering,
and
b) the plants
originate from an area k<strong>no</strong>wn to be free from
Puccinia horiana P. Hennings
or
come from premises which have been <strong>of</strong>ficially
inspected at least once a month during the three
months prior to dispatch, and where <strong>no</strong> symptoms
<strong>of</strong> Puccinia horiana P. Hennings were observed
during this period, and which were <strong>no</strong>t located in
the immediate vicinity <strong>of</strong> areas in which, during
the three months prior to dispatch, symptoms <strong>of</strong>
Puccinia horiana P. Hennings are k<strong>no</strong>wn to have
occurred
