Product Description<br />
<strong>kolorMATRIX</strong> Coatings has formulated a multipurpose,<br />
acrylated urethane system that combines excellent<br />
adhesion properties with superior color fade resistance.<br />
The E.Z. Banner (EZB) Series is a high gloss<br />
ink that was designed specifically for vinyl (shade)<br />
banner printing. The EZB has extremely high cure<br />
speeds, with special<br />
non-block agents added to the formula.<br />
Recommended Substrates<br />
This product was designed for vinyl banners, but will<br />
also adhere to pressure sensitive vinyls, polystyrene,<br />
ABS, polycarbonate, top coated polyester, rigid vinyl,<br />
coated and uncoated paper, card stock, and some coated<br />
metals. With the use of 5% Adhesion Promoter, EZB<br />
Series has shown to work well on poly banner as well.<br />
Test print before production.<br />
Specifications<br />
Curing: 300 watt per inch lamp: Belt speeds between 40-<br />
50 feet per minute using 355-420 mono polyester meshes.<br />
Use of 5-10% EZB 800 Mixing Clear will increase<br />
light penetration and improve gloss and cure.<br />
Squeegee: UV-80 Red, UV-90 White and 70/90/70 triple<br />
duro polyurethane blades.<br />
Coverage: 3000 to 3500 sq/ft per gallon.<br />
Outdoor Use: EZB Series withstood 1500 h<strong>our</strong>s of exposure<br />
with 4-h<strong>our</strong> cycle times of UV light and condensation<br />
at elevated temperatures with minimal color change<br />
and marginal shrinkage. Based on prior correlations of<br />
accelerated testing versus real time a exposure, 500<br />
h<strong>our</strong>s is equated to approximately one year, 45° s<strong>out</strong>h<br />
Florida.<br />
Metallics: EZB Series Metallic Mixing Clear is supplied<br />
to use in mixing metallic powders and pastes. The recommended<br />
mixing ratios are by weight: 10% silver,<br />
18% gold thru 255-305 Mesh.<br />
Color Matching Guide<br />
The Formula Guide reproduces over 1,000 colors utilizing<br />
eleven EZB Series CM shades (Color Matching).<br />
Custom matches, fluorescent, metallic and transparent<br />
colors are available upon request.<br />
