INSIDE THE EFL WELCOME TO THE EFL ‘CHOOSE TAP’ FINALS SERIES On behalf of the Eastern Football League, welcome to the 2012 EFL ‘Choose Tap’ fi nal series! To all clubs from Divisions 2, 3 and 4, we hope you each enjoy the action – both on and off the fi eld. ‘BE SMART, CHOOSE TAP’ – YARRA VALLEY WATER In 2012, the EFL fi nals series will be sponsored by Yarra Valley Water, one of the EFL’s newest and most involved sponsors. This season’s series will be known as the EFL ‘Choose Tap’ Finals series. In 2012, Yarra Valley Water has launched its ‘Be Smart, Choose Tap’ campaign, which encourages everyone to consider choosing tap water to rehydrate. The Yarra Valley Water team has given the league tremendous support since jumping on board this season, sponsoring the water carrier bibs, drink bottles and water carriers on game day. The EFL thanks Yarra Valley Water for its ongoing support and encourages all players and supporters to be smart and choose tap water to rehydrate during the fi nals series. ‘CHOOSE TAP’ FINALS ENTRY The following entry prices (including GST) will apply: ADULT CONCESSION** ALL DIVISIONS FINALS $13.00 $7.00 GRAND FINALS $15.00^ $9.00^ VETERANS FINALS $5.00 N/A NOTE: Children under the age of 16 are admitted FREE to all fi nals. ** Concession includes age pension cards, Veteran Affairs cards and disability pension cards ^ $2 from the entry price of all grand fi nals will be donated to the Blue Ribbon Foundation CAR PARKING AT ‘CHOOSE TAP’ FINALS VENUES Car parking inside fi nals venues will be limited due to recent bad weather. This will be communicated via the website and to competing clubs in the week leading up to the game. With much larger crowds than for home and away games, don’t assume you will be able to get a park inside most venues as this will not be the case. Councils have also advised that a parking offi cer will be in attendance, so park only in designated areas. NO DOGS Dogs are banned at all EFL games, including fi nals and alcohol is not permitted to be brought into any fi nals venue. It would be appreciated if all clubs would stress these points with both players and supporters. ALCOHOL AT ‘CHOOSE TAP’ FINALS VENUES Patrons attending fi nals are not permitted to bring alcohol into the venues. At venues where cars have access to the grounds, a condition of entry is that boots are inspected and this will be rigidly enforced. Apart from ensuring compliance with liquor licensing and council by-laws, it helps to protect clubs revenues from fi nals. As in past years, there will be a two-can limit on purchases and all alcohol sold will be opened by bar staff on purchase. These are part of the licensing requirements. ONE PAYMENT PER VENUE We’ll again be adopting an approach where your admittance will allow entry for the full day at that particular venue. Each venue has its own admission fee, so if you choose to move between venues you’ll, need to pay a second entry. ‘CHOOSE TAP’ FINALS UMPIRES The league will supply three fi eld, two boundary and two goal umpires for each fi nals match. STAY UP-TO-DATE WITH ‘CHOOSE TAP’ FINALS SCORES Want to know the live scores of other ‘Choose Tap’ fi nals? The EFL Media Team will be using Twitter to bring you all the Around the Grounds Scores.
