rainbow-coloured houses. Set on the bank of
the Nordås Lake, it’s the former home of
world-famous composer, edvard grieg.
Make your way to the household’s concert hall
to get a special taster of gerig’s work.

Flam* - NORWAY
eXPerieNCe some of Norway’s most
spectacular scenery on the Flam railway.
The train chugs up to heights of 867 metres,
so you’ll get a birds-eye view over the area’s
plunging valleys and mirror-like fjords.

Skjolden - NORWAY
JoiN a walking tour across the blue ice of
mainland europe’s largest glacier. You’ll find it in
the Jostedalsbreen National Park – a sprawling
region of icy lakes and rugged peaks. The glacier

a whopping 510 square miles.

HiKe to the top of Preikestolen, or Pulpit’s rock,
as it’s also known. This huge cliff soars skywards
for around 1,982 feet, commanding incredible views
over Norway’s Lysefjord. at the top of it is a wide,
flat area that acts as a viewing platform, and
thousands of people trek here each year to
appreciate the vistas.

Kristiansand - NORWAY
DiSCoVer the different types of minerals at
the Setesdal Mineral Park in Hornnes. More than
100 varieties can be found here, and you’ll spot
peaks made from the likes of rock crystal, topaz
and amethyst. Head underground, meanwhile,
and there’s an interesting museum that’ll fill you
in on the science behind them all.

Oslo - NORWAY
CraNe your neck to see the top of the monolith, a
17-metre-high sculpture in Vigeland Sculpture Park.
The 32-hectare area is the brainchild of artist,
gustav Vigeland, and it’s dotted with 200 sculptures
carved out of stone, bronze and iron.
