The new state-of-the-art dance
studio is equipped with a L’Air
sprung floor, barres, mirrors, and
theatrical sound and lighting
equipment. Classes include
ballet, modern, jazz, tap,
improvisation and choreography,
dance history, period dance, and
world dance.
Hands-on music production
The Anderson University Recording Studio is a digital hard disk studio
with a Digidesign Control 24 control surface and a Pro Tools HD-1
system. The MIDI Lab houses 16 individual workstations, each
equipped with a computer and Alesis keyboard connected to a mixing
console, allowing the instructor to monitor students individually. The
MIDI Lab workstations all incorporate Sonar Studio 6, Sibelius 5,
Aurelia and Musition software.
