Highlights of the <strong>bizhub</strong> PRO B951 are its affordability,<br />
extraordinarily high print resolution and outstanding<br />
media flexibility as well as a tone curve utility that comes<br />
with the printer, maxed out paper capacity and professional<br />
finishing options.<br />
The feature list of the newly released <strong>bizhub</strong> PRO B951 is<br />
packed with gems. Among them, two attributes really stand out<br />
– its affordability and durability. With a print speed of 95 pages<br />
per minute (ppm) A4, this new entry-level system offers an<br />
excellent price-performance ratio for central reprographic<br />
departments, digital print service providers and all high-volume<br />
printing environments without compromising on quality.<br />
The new <strong>bizhub</strong> PRO B951 carries conviction with its superior<br />
print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200dpi and offers a wide range of<br />
lines per inch (lpi) options – from 40 to 300lpi. The production<br />
system also delivers high media flexibility: it can print on paper<br />
from 40 to 300gsm with an option for compatibility with 350gsm<br />
paper. The system’s standard paper format is SRA3. The fully<br />
integrated media catalogue enables operators to define their<br />
media profiles, which are stored in a library and can be easily<br />
picked up from the printer driver. In addition the scheduler<br />
function gives a detailed overview of jobs in the queue and<br />
indicates the paper needed and the amount still in the tray.<br />
One of the essential features that delivers the<br />
<strong>bizhub</strong> PRO B951’s professional printing results is the tone<br />
curve utility: This tool can change Raster Image Processing<br />
(RIP) adjustments such as screening and tone curves. The<br />
<strong>bizhub</strong> PRO B951 holds up to 9,000 sheets of paper and<br />
enriches printouts with finishing options like stapling for up to<br />
100 sheets, booklet making and z-folding as well as post<br />
insertion, GBC punching and automatic ring binding.
