The Istituto Superiore di Sanità (the National Institute of Health in Italy) participates in the European project<br />
CHANGE (Care of Health Advertising New Goals for Elderly people). The project is an intervention model designed<br />
to provide the elderly population with healthy lifestyles to stay active accounting the increase in life expectancy and<br />
the working period. The intervention model consists of an informal educational system centered on increasing motor<br />
activity and optimization of diet to be carried out after identifying and training of social health mediators (physicians,<br />
gerontologists, social workers, psychologists and pharmacists).<br />

L’Istituto Superiore di Sanità partecipa al progetto europeo CHANGE (Care of Health Advertising New Goals for<br />
Elderly people) che si pone quale modello di intervento finalizzato a fornire alla popolazione anziana la promozione<br />
di stili di vita più salubri per rimanere attivi e far fronte all’aumento della speranza di vita e del periodo lavorativo nel<br />
modo più appropriato. Il modello d’intervento proposto consiste in un sistema educativo informale centrato<br />
sull’aumento dell’attività motoria e sull’ottimizzazione del regime alimentare da effettuare dopo aver individuato e<br />
addestrato i mediatori socio-sanitari (medici, gerontologi, assistenti sociali, psicologi e farmacisti).<br />
