Setting up <strong>of</strong> 6-AIIMS Pre-bid Queries &Amendment-1 (HVAC)<br />
Reply to Queries for AIIMS tenders at six locations:<br />
Sl NO.<br />
1. Screw Chiller: Mono screw acceptable as requested.<br />
2. Secondary Chiller Pump: BOQ gives the duty <strong>of</strong> the pump. Specification is as per<br />
CPWD HVAC specification.<br />
3. Thermal Storage system <strong>and</strong> allied accessories: Your observation is noted. At the time<br />
<strong>of</strong> execution decision will be taken whether to provide this system or not. The tenderer<br />
has to commission the system without thermal storage system if so decided.<br />
4. Scrubber specification: as per approved manufacturer’s spec. with approval from <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Engineer In Charge in consultation with HVAC Consultant.<br />
5. Axial Flow Fans: Makes as in the revised list.<br />
6. Energy Recovery Wheel: Makes as per revised list attached. Duty as per BOQ <strong>and</strong><br />
specifications as per CPWD. This is a part <strong>of</strong> AHU.<br />
7. BMS: Information on Summary: to be collected from HLL Office.<br />
8. Cross linked closed cell insulation: Specification as in BOQ. Reply already given<br />
earlier.<br />
9. Duct Insulation: “50 mm thick insulation” deleted.<br />
10. Expansion tank: Revised list <strong>of</strong> approved makes attached.<br />
11. Thickness <strong>of</strong> inner skin <strong>of</strong> AHU/Drain Tray/Cooling Coils: .8mm/ as specified in CPWD<br />
HVAC specification for GI. Please note that inner skin <strong>of</strong> Air Washer also will be <strong>of</strong><br />
stainless steel.<br />
12. Point No. 25 to Preamble: No change.<br />
13. Point No. 25(a): Choice <strong>of</strong> make from the approved list <strong>of</strong> makes lies with the contractor<br />
but the Engineer-in-charge will give prior approval before order is placed.<br />
14. General: Specifications are as per BOQ/CPWD HVAC specification. The BOQ is based<br />
on the detailed design made by the AC Consultant. The detailed drawings will be given<br />
to the successful bidder after award <strong>of</strong> the work. Meanwhile if any further details are<br />
required contact HLL Office for the needful.<br />
