3. CaRleVana RezeRVa<br />
Small quantities <strong>of</strong> the best grapes are carefully selected every vintage, vinified separately and<br />
aged in oak barrels to produce our flagship wines – Carlevana Cabernet Sauvignon Rezerva and<br />
Carlevana Chardonnay Rezerva.<br />
Dionysos - Mereni was the first winery to produce in <strong>Moldova</strong> Rezerva style wines since vintage<br />
2000. Years later in 2006, Rezerva has been registered by the authorities as an <strong>of</strong>ficial classification<br />
in <strong>Moldova</strong>.<br />
CABERNET SAuVIgNoN Rezerva 2002/2003<br />
• Cabernet Sauvignon Rezerva is an intense wine with a pr<strong>of</strong>ound ruby color;<br />
• The nose opens with jamy notes <strong>of</strong> red and black fruits, accented by a<br />
delicate spiciness;<br />
• The winemaking <strong>of</strong> this Cabernet Sauvignon is classic: a 7 days<br />
maceration, and ageing for 2 years in <strong>Moldova</strong>n oak barrels, 40% new;<br />
• Best served with roasted duck, barbeque and steak.<br />

ChARDoNNAy Rezerva 2002/2003<br />
• The wine is sparkling yellow, dressed in golden reflections;<br />
• This dry white wine is liberating a nose <strong>of</strong> vanilla, caramel, fine brandy, all<br />
these underlined by a discrete woodiness;<br />
The full, rich and meaty palate is well balanced by an oakyness that is<br />
• delicate and delicious;<br />
Best to be served with the refined salads, seafood fish and poultry;<br />
• 19 000/4 000 bottles produced.<br />

kAgoR Rezerva 2001<br />
• Kagor is a <strong>Moldova</strong>n style <strong>of</strong> red fortified dessert wine;<br />
• The wine was partially fermented with wild yeasts and than alcohol was<br />
added to the ferment on skins to stop the fermentation;<br />
• Dried plums, over-ripe sweet cherry, cherry jam and with age – chocolate,<br />
are the aromas and flavors characteristic to Kagor;<br />

Best served with fruits and desserts.<br />
