FUTURE ACTIVITIES<br />

To consolidate/combine GRCS branch assessment results and the existing strategies in the main fields<br />

of activity and thus, elaborate new five year strategy (2012-2016) in accordance with “Strategy 2020” of<br />

the International Federation of <strong>Red</strong> <strong>Cross</strong> and <strong>Red</strong> Crescent Societies.<br />

To support GRCS governing bodies (follow their guides) in carrying out active consultations with relevant<br />

government structures and appropriate Parliamentary Committee to make necessary changes to the<br />

“Law about <strong>Georgia</strong> <strong>Red</strong> <strong>Cross</strong> <strong>Society</strong>“ and “Law about the Emblem and Titles of <strong>Red</strong> <strong>Cross</strong> and <strong>Red</strong><br />

Crescent ”<br />

To improve the functioning of internal systems – fundraising, financial management, logistics,<br />

communication at local and central level.<br />

To improve coordination of NS activities (planning and management of projects and initiatives,<br />

development of Youth <strong>Red</strong> <strong>Cross</strong> and Volunteering, service delivery) at local level through close<br />

cooperation and active communication with branches.<br />

To expand the area of implementation of GRCS branch Development Model through mobilizing local<br />

community in order to provide effective service delivery to the vulnerable.<br />

To make membership recruitment in National <strong>Society</strong> more active and strengthen local resource<br />

mobilization.<br />
