(54) Electric heating device for mounting of vegetal
objects in paraffin blocks and onto the
microtome support
(57) The electric heating device represents a metallic
block, covered with a glass of black colour,
constituting together a small working table. The
connection and disconnection of the network
is carried out by means of two toggle switches.
The working tools’ temperature control desk
(the small table, the solderer and the plate) is
mounted onto the frontal vertical surface of the
device. With the help of the device it is attained:
melting of the paraffin pancakes containing the
tested objects; formation of the groove with
melted paraffin in the centre of the paraffin
block and mounting of the object destined for
cutting; glueing of the paraffin block onto the
microtome support and straightening of the
paraffin cuts onto the slide.
Regulation of the working temperature excludes
the air and room pollution with harmful
paraffin vapours.

монтирования растительных объектов в
парафиновые блоки и на держателе
микротома
(57) Электронагревательное устройство представляет
собой металлический блок, сверху
покрытый стеклом черного цвета, что, в
целом, составляет рабочий столик. Включение
и выключение электросети осуществляется
с помощью двух тумблеров. Пульт
управления температурой рабочих органов
(столик, паяльник и пластинка), установлен
на передней вертикальной поверхности
устройства. С помощью устройства достигается:
плавление парафиновых лепешек с
исследуемыми объектами; образование
выемки с плавленым парафином в центре
парафинового блока и монтирование в нем

объекта, предназначенного для резки;
склеивание парафинового блока на держателе
микротома и выпрямление парафиновых
срезов на предметном стекле.
Регулирование рабочей температуры исключает
загрязнение воздуха и рабочего
помещения вредными парами парафина.

(54) Baie de deshidratare şi îmbibare cu parafină
a obiectelor vegetale pentru microscopia
fotonică
(57) Baia de deshidratare şi îmbibare cu parafină
a obiectelor vegetale este destinată pentru
microscopia fotonică a unui număr mare de
obiecte în procesul de pregătire a obiectelor
experimentale pentru secţionarea la microtom.
Baia conţine un bloc de aluminiu cu 90 de
celule, care constituie capacul unei chiuvete cu
apă, încălzită de două elemente electrice unite
cu două termoregulatoare, şi panou de comandă.
În celule se introduc obiectele vegetale,
care se deshidratează cu alcool etilic, iar prin
xilen sau toluen se îmbibă cu parafină.

of vegetal objects for light microscopy
(57) The bath for paraffin impregnation and dehydration
of biological objects is meant for light
microscopy of a large number of tested objects,
in the process of preparation thereof for microtome
cutting.
The bath contains an aluminum block of 90
cells, forming the cover of a dish filled up with
water, heated by two electric elements joined
with two temperature controllers, and a control
desk. Into the cells there are introduced the
vegetal objects which are dehydrated with ethyl
alcohol, and by xylol or toluol are impregnated
with paraffin.
