Congratulations to ELTIS for these 10 years
spent in providing information service about
public transport. It is a real chance to be able
to benefit from such a platform which facilitates
the trans-national cooperation. It is a reservoir of
best-practices useful for all actors in the world of
transport & mobility.

CONGRATULATIONS, ELTIS!
At the very special occasion of 10th anniversary, we wish
to extend our sincere congratulations to the whole team
of ELTIS web portal, which, in our experience indeed is
„Europe’s number one web portal on urban transport and
mobility“.
As a small town faced with the challenges of transport
over the recent years we have been trying to find local
solutions, always looking for advice and best practice examples.
ELTIS has provided us with many such inspiring
examples. It has also enabled us to assess the results of
our own programmes and projects in comparision to the
other presented cases and to share our own experience
and hopefully support other communities.
ELTIS has also helped us to connect to other local communities
and made us part of a larger European network
of towns and transport-related institutions. We rely on
ELTIS for reliable, first-hand information and guidance.
We hope to contribute even more in its excellent results
and wish its team many successful decades of excellent
work towards our common aim. Thank you, ELTIS! Many
happy returns.

Projects and databases come and go,
ELTIS stays! I’ve seen several attempts
to install a info service like ELTIS on the
European level, some of them bad, some
of them good and still exisiting, but none of
them with the depth and the width of ELTIS!

to the staff of FGM-AMOR for their excellent work! As a
worldwide network for sustainable urban mobility, Cities
for Mobility has been relying for many years on the precious
best practice examples, available online in many
languages, that allow to transfer successful strategies
and instruments to other cities around the world quite
easily.

It is just a coincidence but my daughter
was born in november 1998 and now, I
wouldn´t know what to do without her.
Today, if you ask me about a database for
mobility and urban transport apart from
ELTIS I’ll need time to think. Someone said
you are nº 1 in the world. Congratulations,

Already ten years?! In the last decade
ELTIS has been part of my daily work
- to learn and to connect with colleagues
of all over Europe working on projects that
I am starting or already working for sometime
and need some advise. When other
Portuguese colleagues ask me about some
topics or projects on transport and mobility I
