<strong>Cobham</strong> won a 2010 Queen’s Award for Industry for development of video transmission technology used in bomb<br />
disposal robots.<br />
US Unmanned Ground Vehicles use <strong>Cobham</strong> video transmission technology.<br />
In the UK, <strong>Cobham</strong> is contracted to maintain Royal Air Force MQ-9 Predator UAVs in service.<br />
The Northrop Grumman Global Hawk uses <strong>Cobham</strong> components and subsystems in its ground based antenna<br />
terminal, radar and communications systems.<br />
<strong>Cobham</strong> was a pioneer in unmanned systems, converting Royal Air Force fighter jets to remote piloted drones in<br />
the 1950s and later manufacturing the Phoenix UAV, which served with British Forces in the Balkans in the 1990s.<br />
