Board (CTG)<br />
While it’s true that <strong>French</strong> <strong>Guiana</strong> is little<br />
known by the general public, for<br />
connoisseurs it remains a mythical<br />
<strong>de</strong>stination. The ambition of the <strong>French</strong><br />
<strong>Guiana</strong> Tourist Board is to promote it and<br />
encourage its discovery, hoping that visitors<br />
will ultimately fall in love with it. We aim<br />
to do this by extending our passion to<br />
different tourism-re<strong>la</strong>ted professionals:<br />
• Tour operators.<br />
• Travel agencies catering for groups,<br />
indivi<strong>du</strong>als and offering incentive trips.<br />
• Tourist press.<br />
CTG’s goal is to inform professionals,<br />
but above all to train them to promote<br />
<strong>French</strong> <strong>Guiana</strong>.<br />
To achieve this, we organise:<br />
For tour operators<br />
> Appreciation meetings for pro<strong>du</strong>ct managers<br />
who do not yet inclu<strong>de</strong> <strong>French</strong> <strong>Guiana</strong> among<br />
their pro<strong>du</strong>cts.<br />
> Training workshops for sales and reservation teams.<br />
> Joint promotional operations (canvassing,<br />
mailing, participation in tra<strong>de</strong> fairs).<br />
For travel agencies<br />
> Regu<strong>la</strong>r canvassing missions.<br />
> Information seminars.<br />
> Informative tours for specialised agencies<br />
(incentive, groups) that belong to distribution<br />
networks.<br />
For tra<strong>de</strong> and generalist<br />
press journalists<br />
> Group or indivi<strong>du</strong>al press trips.<br />
> Regu<strong>la</strong>r information on the <strong>la</strong>test tourist <strong>de</strong>als<br />
