Order in French for M. Comte de Walsh, signed by Louis XVI at Versailles,
confirming that due to the departure of Captain Galmoy, Captain Edward
Roche has been made Commander of the Company of Grenadiers in the
regiment of the Infantry of Ireland. Additional note by Louis Joseph de
Bourbon, Prince de Condè, reffering to Roche’s appointment.

Letter in French to Captain Edward Roche from L. de [Neurbonne], French
Ministry of War, Paris, replying to his query regarding the payment of
military pensions to persons resident outside of France. [de Neurbonne] refers
to the Decree of 24 June 1791 and regrets he cannot change the law. Suggests
Roche speak with an Attorney to examine his position.
