Rent roll of the lands of Kilnagorty, property of John Ryan, deceased,
maintained by his executors Hugh Kenedy and Howard Egan. Details names
of tenants, townlands, leases, rents due and paid. Records also payments made
on behalf of the estate.

paid, together with annual accounts from particular townlands.

Rental Ledger kept by [Daniel Ryan], recording rents due and received from
individual tenants. Also features household accounts 1742 –1748 e.g. “Feb.
24 th 1765 Oate meale for the house 8:2:0”, and some stock and crop records
1763 –1767. Volume features an alphabetical index at front. Enclosed are
receipts and financial calculations.

Rental Ledger recording primarily rents due and paid kept by [George Ryan].
Volume features an index at front and a list of relevant leases detailing their
terms and yearly rents due. Features also an “Inventory of household
furniture, plate, stock found at Inch when I took possession in September
1780”. Listed under ‘Furniture’ are “ 16 china plates & dishes all cracked” “a
rowling stone & hand barrow …….in the Garden”. Under ‘Stock’ he has
recorded “ 8 unmercifull widows…. on my back”. Recorded also are details of
the rental of Inch Estate at the death of John Ryan, July 1778, (out of a rental
of £1368:16:6, £194.9.9 is left once all charges on the estate are paid), and an
account of charges affecting the estate since 1778. Detailed accounts are given
