Ejectment for non payment of rent obtained by George Ryan against Michael
Gleeson and Michael Gleeson Senior, involving a holding of 15a 2r 15p in
lands of Moheragh and the Pollough. Mss notes on sums due etc.

Agreement whereby George Ryan, Inch House, accepts from his evicted
tenant John Connolly, Ballypatrick, £40 in lieu of rent arrears of £57:15:0 and
agrees to reinstate him as tenant.

Deed of Assignment. Daniel Ryan of Inch, Co. Tipperary, 1 st part, John Ryan
of Inch, farmer, William Gleason of Mothar and Patrick Connelly of
Rossoulty, farmers, and William Armstrong of Cummer 2 nd part. Daniel Ryan
in consideration of £2900, Bargains and Sell to the above the timber, trees and
woods now growing or being upon his estate in Rossmult, Rossoulty,
Rossheen, Knockane, Athshanboy, Gortkelly, Moher and Glanfinehan,
Barony of Killnemanagh, Co. Tipperary for 7 years. £550 is to be paid
immediately and the balance in similar annual sums up to 1769. Other
conditions refer to right of access and the right to erect cabins to facilitate the
work
191 1 May 1765
Deed of Assignment. Daniel Ryan of Inch sold for consideration of £2800,
woodlands to John Ryan, Patrick Connolly, William Gleeson and William
Armstrong. John Ryan now assigns his interest in a sum of £500, bequeathed
to him by his grandfather Justin McCarthy, to Daniel Ryan, his father, “for the
better & more Effectual Ratifying and Confirming the sale of the wood”.
