Using a Star Finder, Activity 6-9<br />
The student should be able to demonstrate the use of a Do it Yourself Star Finder by<br />
locating a given constellation within the portable planetarium.<br />
Background<br />
Follow the specific directions for the Do it Yourself Star Finder.<br />
Procedure<br />
With the Starfield Cylinder in place and latitude set, hand out the Do it Yourself Star<br />
Finders. Beginning with easy-to-find constellations, have students locate them for a<br />
particular day and time of the year.
Change language
