The Agricultural Utilization of Fertilizing Residual Materials: Questions and Answers leaflet provides answers to the most frequently asked questions. For example: • Does reclamation hinder surplus manure management? • Do FRMs 1 contain contaminants? • Can FRMs harm crops? • Can spreading residuals contaminate well water? • Will FRM application contaminate agricultural soils? • Is it possible for an unknown contaminant to be present in FRMs and cause irreversible damage to soil over time? • Can FRM utilization cause health problems in farmers or consumers? • Can FRMs be used in organic farming?
