1139 GUNNER WALTER GEORGE WOOLLEY, 4 TH BN. R.F.A., was killed on 21 January 1915, aged 38. He is commemorated on the Nunhead Cemetery<br />

memorial.<br />

HENRY GEORGE WOOLLEY was killed on 27 March 1943 when the aircraft carrier H.M.S. Dasher exploded on the Clyde Estuary. He was also aged<br />

38, <strong>and</strong> is commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial.<br />

The lot is sold with: a card sent to H. G. Woolley's parents from the submarine H.M.S. Proteus, 4 th Submarine Flotilla China Station, Christmas<br />

1932; two rib<strong>and</strong>s from H.M. Submarines <strong>and</strong> H.M.S. Pembroke; <strong>and</strong> ration books to another member of the family.<br />
