20. Make your workshop child proof with padlocks, master switches or by removing starter keys.<br />

21. Give your work undivided attention. Looking around, carrying on a conversation and “horse-play” are<br />

careless acts that can result in serious injury.<br />

22. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.<br />

23. Do not use the dust collector for anything except wood dust. Materials such as liquids, metal<br />

shavings, metal dust, screws, glass, plastic or rock can cause sparks and/or damage when coming<br />

into contact with any part of the dust collector.<br />

24. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.<br />

25. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they<br />

may be present.<br />

26. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp<br />

edges or corners. Do not run dust collector over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.<br />

27. Do not use this dust collector with a damaged cord or plug.<br />

28. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.<br />

29. Do not use without dust bag and/or filters in place.<br />

30. Do not handle plug or machine with wet hands.<br />

31. Do not put any objects into the openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint,<br />

hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.<br />

32. Do not operate without hose connected to the inlet. Hazardous moving parts inside. Unplug before<br />

removing inlet or inlet guard.<br />

33. Use recommended accessories; improper accessories may be hazardous.<br />

34. Maintain tools with care. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.<br />

35. Turn off the machine and disconnect from power before cleaning. Use a brush or compressed air to<br />

remove chips or debris — do not use your hands.<br />

36. Do not leave the machine when it is plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before<br />

servicing.<br />
