The disadvantage of this type of prosthesis is that the length and width of the<br />

phallus does not alter. The length of the erectile device is cut <strong>to</strong> correspond <strong>to</strong> the<br />

length of the phallus and is there<strong>for</strong>e of a fixed length. Also, when bent down it<br />

remains relatively rigid and harder <strong>to</strong> conceal. This is a less popular kind of<br />

prosthesis.<br />
