The Tonal Innovation Center (TONIC) will be hosting a discussion on<br />
the use of sustainable materials for musical instruments at 2011 Sum-<br />
mer NAMM in Nashville, Tenn. The two-hour seminar will take place from<br />
8–10 a.m. on July 22 on the second floor of the Nashville Convention<br />
Center. TONIC advocates the use of environmentally friendly, recyclable<br />

Spanish-language website.<br />
Gibsonguitar.es provides a fully integrated<br />
experience for Spanish-speaking fans and<br />
musicians that support the Gibson brand.<br />
The site offers daily music news and features,<br />
music videos, contests, guitar lessons,<br />
and other related information. It also<br />
includes Spanish-language product pages<br />
describing the features and specs for Gibson,<br />
Epiphone and Kramer guitars, as well as<br />
other gear and accessories.<br />
Fans can participate in the site’s exclusive<br />
interviews by submitting questions to their<br />

Tsutomu Katoh<br />
Korg Chairman Tsutomu Katoh<br />
passed away on March 15 after<br />
a long battle with cancer.<br />
“Since he founded Korg <strong>Inc</strong>. in<br />
1963, Katoh has led our company<br />
with great talent, vision and leadership,”<br />
said Seiki Kato, Korg’s president.<br />
“He was loved and respected<br />
by all the employees and Korg family<br />
members, and he made a huge<br />
contribution to the lives of countless<br />
musicians around the world.”<br />

of this industry’s true visionaries.”<br />
