never really intended to get involved. She had been approached<br />
many times about other network marketing opportunities but was<br />
turned off by the industry as a whole. So she is more surprised<br />
than anybody to be involved in <strong>Max</strong> <strong>International</strong>, but she and Al<br />
couldn’t be more excited. Debi said it is the one job you can do<br />
without any particular set of skills other than having a passion and<br />
enthusiasm for what you are selling.<br />
Debi got involved with <strong>Max</strong> despite herself. A teacher at her kids’<br />
school had just flown back from Salt Lake where she had attended<br />
a <strong>Max</strong> fly-in. Debi could tell the teacher was excited about something and had to ask her about it. Before<br />
she knew what was happening Debi was taking <strong>Max</strong>GXL and signing up as an Associate.<br />
It also came at a good time because Al was having problems with his real estate company and they were<br />
at a place in their lives where they were more open to an opportunity like <strong>Max</strong> <strong>International</strong>. Al became<br />
equally sold on <strong>Max</strong> <strong>International</strong> and it is something he and Debi do together and fuel each other’s<br />
excitement.<br />
Al said enthusiasm sells. “When you believe in something you become enthusiastic about<br />
it and that is contagious. They see that you love what you are doing. They want to feel the<br />
same way about what they are doing, but so many people don’t.”<br />
Al said it’s also about hard work and always being mindful of opportunities to share it with people. He said<br />
he will be driving by the office of a chiropractor, dentist or medical doctor, or maybe a health club. He’ll<br />
go inside, give them his card and direct them to the website he and Debi set up. He tells them that he’s<br />
not a doctor but he has a product that truly works and here’s where you can learn more about it. Some<br />
people visit the website and others don’t but opening your mouth creates a possibility that wouldn’t exist<br />
otherwise. Al said that the strength of <strong>Max</strong> <strong>International</strong> lies in the products. When you have a product that<br />
is extremely effective and truly unique it creates a limitless marketing opportunity.<br />
Debi said that having the opportunity to help people with money and health is a rare thing and she feels<br />
obligated to share it. The fact she and Al aren’t professional network marketers actually works to their<br />
advantage in some ways because it helps with their credibility and that of the company. They know Al and<br />
Debi don’t get involved with something simply because it’s the latest craze. Once they see how strongly<br />
the Lees believe in what they are selling they often want to know more. The majority of those who take<br />
time to research the products and the company are usually so impressed with what they find they want to<br />
know where they can sign up.<br />
