with trout and her mountainous<br />
regions abound in deer and elk.<br />
About 75,000 deer licenses were<br />
issued in 1938, hundreds <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m<br />
to big game hunters from many<br />
parts <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> country. Duck hunting<br />
in Utah ranks with <strong>the</strong> finest<br />
in America. The Bear River Migratory<br />
Wild Fowl Refuge is <strong>the</strong><br />
largest bird sanctuary in <strong>the</strong> world.<br />
Pheasants are abundant. The State<br />
<strong>of</strong> Utah Fish and Game Department,<br />
in stocking streams and protecting<br />
and nurturing game, is doing a notable<br />
work in conserving wild life.<br />
