Don Riddick is chief information <strong>of</strong>ficer<br />

<strong>of</strong> Rainbow Books and director <strong>of</strong><br />

technology for Paone, Callahan,<br />

McHolm & Winton in Irvine. Don is<br />

also <strong>the</strong> honorary chair <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Orange<br />

County Committee to elect Governor<br />

Bush President. Don’s recent pro bono<br />

cases include one involving internet<br />

copyright laws and ano<strong>the</strong>r involving<br />

credit issues against Wells Fargo. In his<br />

spare time, Don teaches fencing, perf<br />

o rms wedding ceremonies as an<br />

ordained minister, and paints, winning<br />

several awards for his miniature paintings.<br />

Joseph Stumpf stopped practicing<br />

law in 1997 and meandered his way<br />

into private equity investing, holding<br />

<strong>the</strong> title <strong>of</strong> Vice President <strong>of</strong> Merger<br />

and Acquisitions for AT&T Wireless<br />

S e rvices in Redmond, Wa s h i n g t o n .<br />

Between law and business, Joe took<br />

some time <strong>of</strong>f to be a ski bum and earn<br />

his MBA. After a two-year stint at<br />

Berrien County Legal Services and a<br />

brief academic detour to <strong>the</strong> University<br />

<strong>of</strong> Michigan for a Masters in Urban<br />

and Regional Planning, Charlette Pugh<br />

Tall has started her own general practice<br />

firm in her hometown <strong>of</strong> Benton<br />

H a r b o r, Michigan, practicing in <strong>the</strong><br />

areas <strong>of</strong> criminal, family and municipal<br />

law. Charlette is <strong>the</strong> city attorney<br />

for Benton Harbor. On <strong>the</strong> personal<br />

front, Charlette married Sidney Tall III<br />

about two years ago and <strong>the</strong> couple<br />

loves to take weekend trips to amusement<br />

parks to ride <strong>the</strong> newest roller<br />

coasters. In January, Ann-Marie Villicana<br />

was one <strong>of</strong> twenty people to be<br />

inaugurated to <strong>the</strong> first UCLA Board <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> Public Policy and Social<br />

We l f a re. In March, Ann-Marie was<br />

elected to <strong>the</strong> 44 th Assembly District<br />

Central Committee for a six-year term.<br />

At <strong>the</strong> same time, Ann-Marie also<br />

moved to Dilbeck Realtors in old town<br />

Pasadena. With whatever time is left,<br />

Ann-Marie continues to serve on <strong>the</strong><br />

board <strong>of</strong> California’s Nature Conserv<br />

a n c y. If her pr<strong>of</strong>essional life isn’t<br />

keeping her busy enough, Ann-Marie<br />

was married on January 22, 2000 to<br />

Robin Salzer (who owns Robin’s<br />

Restaurant in Pasadena). Both Kelly<br />

Allegra We i l and Aris Art o u n i a n s<br />

attended <strong>the</strong> wedding. For <strong>the</strong>ir honeymoon,<br />

Ann-Marie and Robin visited<br />

Thailand as <strong>the</strong> guest <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Supreme<br />

Commander (which she explained is<br />

<strong>the</strong> equivalent <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Joint Chiefs <strong>of</strong><br />

Staff in <strong>the</strong> U.S.). After spending <strong>the</strong><br />

beginning <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> year backpacking,<br />

sailing, camping, hiking, snorkeling,<br />

and swimming in Australia for six<br />

weeks, Laine Wagenseller returned to<br />

Los Angeles to work with his dad in<br />

real estate development. To earn some<br />

additional money, Laine works part<br />

time with friends at Waxler, Carner &<br />

Weinreb, litigating in <strong>the</strong> areas <strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />

liability and insurance. In his<br />

spare time, Laine continues to play<br />

volleyball and travel, including visiting<br />

Duke for our 10 th year college reunion<br />

(which I re g rettably missed). K e l l y<br />

Allegra Weil is a senior associate with<br />

Wolf, Rifkin & Shapiro in <strong>the</strong> real<br />

estate and corporate law department.<br />

Last summer, Kelly married Daniel<br />

Weil. Paul Windust is now with Fleming<br />

and Phillips in Walnut Creek, practicing<br />

in <strong>the</strong> areas <strong>of</strong> business and real<br />

estate litigation and creditors’ rights.<br />

Paul noted that he worked on a real<br />

estate matter with John Shafai, which<br />

had a good result. Paul is expecting his<br />

first child (a girl) in September. Elayna<br />

J. Youchah continues to practice with<br />

Schreck Morris in Las Vegas in <strong>the</strong><br />

areas <strong>of</strong> employment and labor law and<br />

commercial litigation. Jan Zemanek<br />

continues to work for <strong>the</strong> law firm <strong>of</strong><br />

Mario Manella in Newport Beach,<br />

practicing in <strong>the</strong> areas <strong>of</strong> business and<br />

probate litigation. His daughter, Emily,<br />

was born in February <strong>of</strong> 1999 and he is<br />

expecting a second daughter in<br />

November. As for me, remodeling my<br />

new house has kept me busy; however,<br />

I do escape once in awhile to Napa Valley,<br />

San Francisco (where I saw Marty<br />

Brownstein), New York, and <strong>the</strong> South<br />

<strong>of</strong> France. Thanks for <strong>the</strong> great material<br />

and keep <strong>the</strong> news flowing!<br />

Dawyn Harrison was promoted to a<br />

bought a house and traveled to<br />
