Note: When sending messages via the SMS network service, your phone may display the words "Message<br />

Sent". This is an indication that the message has been sent by your phone to the message centre number<br />

programmed into your phone. This is not an indication that the message has been received at the<br />

intended destination. For more details about SMS services, check with your service provider.<br />

Writing and sending e-mails<br />

You can write and send e-mails of up to 160 characters. How to store an e-mail addresses in the phone<br />

book see Saving multiple numbers and text items per name on page 37.<br />

1. Press Menu, and select Messages and Write e-mail.<br />

2. Enter e-mail address or search for an e-mail address in phone book. Press OK to accept.<br />

3. Enter subject or leave entry field blank and press OK to accept.<br />

4. Key in an e-mail. See Writing text on page 32.<br />

Inserting a picture template is not possible.<br />

5. To send the message, press Options, and select Send e-mail.<br />

6. If requested enter the service number of the e-mail server, and press OK to send the e-mail.<br />

You will always be asked for the service number of the e-mail server if you haven’t entered the<br />

number in the message settings. See Message settings on page 57.<br />

The service number of the e-mail server depends on your local network operator or service provider.<br />
