Menu functions<br />

If devices have not been paired, the user is asked to enter the passcode of the desired device. See<br />

Pairing with Bluetooth Passcode above.<br />

Note that if the device in the list moves out of range and you try to connect to it, an error note is<br />

shown.<br />

Note that you can have only one active connection at a time.<br />

To view the currently active device, press Menu, select Bluetooth and View active device. From here,<br />

you can also close the connection to the device.<br />

To view the list of paired devices, press Menu, select Bluetooth and View paired devices. The oldest<br />

pairing is on the top of the list. When you press Options under View paired devices, some of the<br />

following options may be available, depending on the status of the device or connection: Assign short<br />

name, to give a name (visible to you only) to the paired device, Delete pairing to remove the selected<br />

device from the list, Request conn. authorisation to define whether the connection from the paired<br />

device is established automatically (No) or if the phone asks permission before connecting (Yes).<br />

Bluetooth settings<br />

The settings are for changing the phone’s own Bluetooth-related settings. Press Menu, select<br />

Bluetooth and Bluetooth settings. You have the following options:<br />

My phone’s visibility to change the way the phone is visible to other Bluetooth devices. The options<br />

are as follows:<br />

Shown to all, which is the default mode.<br />

Hidden to make the device non-discoverable, responding only to devices that it has been paired<br />

with.<br />

My phone’s name to change your phone’s Bluetooth device name, which is shown to others.<br />
