pressure point. Do not flex fingers.<br />

With good support, the patient’s bony prominence cannot be felt with<br />

flat hand when the patient is in a “worst-case” position (i.e. head of<br />

bed is elevated 30°, patient is side-lying on greater trochanter, etc.).<br />
