Executive Committee/ General Body Meetings of NIPCCD<br />
The 59th meeting of the Executive Council of the National<br />
Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development<br />
(NIPCCD) was held on 31 March <strong>2008</strong> at NIPCCD<br />
premises, New Delhi. The Executive Committee reviewed<br />
the activities and programmes of the Institute during the<br />
year and expressed satisfaction on the same.<br />
The 39th General Body Meeting of the Institute was held<br />
on 31 March <strong>2008</strong> in the PHD House. The performance<br />

visited NIPCCD on 5 March <strong>2008</strong> to be apprised of<br />
the activities of the Institute. The members of the<br />
delegation held discussions on projects on women and<br />
children and other issues with Dr. Dinesh Paul,<br />
Additional Director NIPCCD.<br />
of the Institute in various areas of women and child<br />
development was reviewed in the meeting. The members<br />
appreciated the progress made by the Institute in the year<br />
under review.<br />
Ms Kamalakshi Sharma was nominated as Vice -<br />
chairperson of NIPCCD. NIPPCCD family extends<br />
her a warm welcome and hopes that the lnstitute would<br />
benfit from her expert contribution and able guidance.<br />

Loans Sanctioned: During the month of March <strong>2008</strong><br />
(upto 26.03.<strong>2008</strong>) RMKsanctioned loans<br />
aggregating Rs. 70.30 lakh to 8 NGO partners -<br />
Rs. <strong>12</strong>.00 lakh in Jharkhand to 1 NGO partner, Rs.<br />
5.00 lakh in Karnataka to 1 NGO partner, Rs. 13.30<br />
lakh in Manipur to 3 NGO partners, Rs. 10.00 lakh<br />
in Rajasthan to 1 NGO partner, Rs. 15.00 lakh in<br />
Uttar Pradesh to 1 NGO partner and Rs. 15.00 lakh<br />
in West Bengal to 1 NGO partner.<br />
Loans Disbursed: During the month of March <strong>2008</strong><br />
(upto 26.3.<strong>2008</strong>), Rashtriya Mahila Kosh disbursed<br />
loans aggregating to Rs. 134.50 lakh to 4 NGO<br />
partners –Rs. 2.00 lakh in Manipur to 1 NGO partner,<br />
Rs. 37.50 lakh in Orissa to 1 NGO partner, Rs. 50.00<br />
lakh in Rajasthan to 1 NGO partner and Rs. 45.00<br />
lakh in Tamil Nadu to 1 NGO partner.<br />
