Campus Ministry is hosting its<br />
annual <strong>Volunteer</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> on Tuesday,<br />
Sept. 14 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. in the<br />
Fine Arts Center lobby.<br />
The <strong>Volunteer</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> will give the<br />
students a chance to meet people<br />
from different volunteer organizations,<br />
such as Franciscan Skemp,<br />
Habitat for Humanity, A Place of<br />
Grace, American Cancer Society, and<br />
many others. It is an easy way for the<br />
students to meet the organizations<br />
without having to leave campus.<br />
“Please help make this <strong>Volunteer</strong><br />
<strong>Fair</strong> a success—bring your class, give<br />
credit for attending, spread the word<br />
that “goodies” are given out, etc.,”<br />
said Marilyn Pedretti, campus ministry.<br />
“Any help you can give would<br />
be greatly appreciated.”<br />
A “<strong>Volunteer</strong> Resource Guide” listing<br />
the various agencies, their purpose,<br />
volunteer positions available,<br />
and special events or training will also<br />
be available at the fair. The guide is<br />
available to any faculty, staff, or<br />
administration member who would<br />
like to assist their students in finding<br />
a place to do volunteer service.<br />
Campus Ministry also has a web<br />
page listing many volunteer opportunities<br />
and Pedretti is also available to<br />
talk to classes, clubs, or other student<br />
groups.<br />

Art Workshops<br />
The art education department at<br />
<strong>Viterbo</strong> <strong>University</strong> is pleased to<br />
announce our Afterschool Art<br />
Workshop to begin this Fall.<br />
The Afterschool Art Workshop is<br />
open to all children between the ages<br />
of 5 and 12. The classes are taught<br />
by art education students and staff.<br />
To cover the cost of expendable<br />
materials, it will be necessary to<br />
charge a $45 fee per student, payable<br />
at registration. Classes will meet for<br />
eight sessions on Tuesday afternoons<br />
from 4:30–6 p.m., beginning Oct.12<br />
and ending Dec. 7. The workshop<br />
classes will be held in the Fine Arts<br />
Center room 317. Enrollment is limited<br />
and students will be registered<br />
on a first come first served basis.<br />

Education: Adrienne has her bachelor’s degree in biology<br />
from Southeast Missouri State <strong>University</strong> and is currently<br />
persuing a masters degree in Student Development from<br />
UW-La Crosse.<br />
Hobbies/Interests/Enthusiasms: Adrienne enjoys going hiking, attending sci-fi<br />
conventions, going on road trips, and visiting Barnes and Noble.<br />
Adventures and Travels: She has visited France, England, and Mexico. She has<br />
lived in Germany and in many U.S. states, “I have been everywhere from<br />
Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon.”<br />
Future Hopes and Plans: Adrienne hopes to complete her master’s degree, do<br />
stand up comedy, and become the first woman on Mars.<br />
Little Known Fact(s): Adrienne was ‘viciously and brutally’ attacked by a ground<br />
hog and still bears the scars that she will never forget.<br />
