Samrand was incorporated in South Africa as a private limited company on 31 January
1994. The principal activity of Samrand is that of property development and is the
registered owner of 629.2 hectares of land situated to the west of the Ben Schoeman
Freeway between Johannesburg and Pretoria in South Africa. The said lands are currently
under development and when completed will consist of industrial, commercial and
residential properties.
2. Share Capital
The present authorised share capital of Samrand is Rand10 comprising 1,000 ordinary shares of
Rand0.01 each. As at 19 March 2001, the issued and paid-up share capital of Samrand is
Rand0.05 comprising 5 ordinary shares of Rand0.01 each.
