[A] Tender Fee : Rs. 500.00 [Rupees Five Hundred only]
[B] Earnest Money / Bid Security : 10% of Total Quoted Value, or Minimum Rs. 5,000.00,
whichever is higher.
[C] Period of Sale of Tender Document : 05.10.2007 to 30.10.2007
[D] Pre-Bid Conference [PBC] on : 12.10.2007 at 15:00 hrs
[E] Last Date & Time for Submission of Bid : 31.10.2007 at 14:00 hrs
[F] Date & Time for Opening of Bids : 31.10.2006 at 15.00 hrs.
[G] Period of Inspection and Time : Between 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs. on all working days during
the Period of Sale of Tender Document.

M/s. GAIL (India) Limited, Vijaipur [Distt. Guna, MP], hereinafter called GAIL / Owner, invites you to submit your bids for
the captioned items [in complete] in accordance with this "Request For Quotation [RFQ]" and enclosed documents /
attachments. All bidders are required to read the Tender Documents carefully before quoting their prices.
GENERAL
1. Bid Document can be purchased from the office of "Dy. General Manager [C&P], GAIL (India) Limited, GAIL-
Complex, Vijaipur, Distt: Guna, MP – 473 112" on any working day between 1000 hours to 1600 hours against
a written request and payment of requisite "Tender Fee", as specified above, by "Demand Draft", in favor of
"GAIL (INDIA) LIMITED", payable at "STATE BANK OF INDIA [Branch: GAIL-Complex, Vijaipur; Code:
06635]", only – "Demand Draft" payable at any other Bank and/or Branch will not be accepted. No
extension in the "Last Date & Time for Submission of Bid / Bid Due Date & Time" shall be considered on
account of delay in receipt of Tender Document by mail or courier.
In case the bidder wishes to download the Tender Document from GAIL's website [www.gailonline.com], then
the requisite amount of "Tender Fee" in the form of "Demand Draft", in favor of "GAIL (INDIA) LIMITED",
payable at "STATE BANK OF INDIA [Branch: GAIL-Complex, Vijaipur; Code: 06635]" shall be payable by the
bidder at the time of submission of the bid, alongwith an undertaking that the contents of the Tender
Document have not been altered or modified.
2. A "Pre-Bid Conference [PBC]" has been scheduled on 12.10.2007 [at 1500 hours] in Administrative Building
of GAIL (India) Limited at Vijaipur [Distt: Guna, MP] to discuss the terms and conditions of the Tender.
3. Bids are to be submitted in 'sealed envelope', superscribed with the above 'Tender No.', 'Date & Time for
Opening of Bids' and 'Bidder's Name & Address' as per the details mentioned under Clause No. 8.0 of
Section-II [i.e. General Terms & Conditions] of this Tender Document.
4. Bids, complete in all respects, alongwith the "Earnest Money / Bid Security" in the form of "Demand Draft" in
favor of "GAIL (INDIA) LIMITED", payable at "STATE BANK OF INDIA [Branch: GAIL-Complex, Vijaipur;
