deeply. There was deep discussion on convergence analysis with him and Prof. Ruben
Juanes. He helped me to deal with the problem of convergence issue providing me with the
appropriate mathematical framework.
I also would like to thank Prof. Tony Settari in the University of Calgary for his
simulator and for valuable discussions. He advised me enthusiastically on the current issues
of reservoir geomechanics. I am grateful to Dr. Ali Fadili in Schlumberger who helped
me for the initial study on coupled flow and geomechanics when I did an internship at
Abingdon.
