ISC Germany: Competence in Footwear and Leather
Customised Training
The activities of ISC Germany revolve around training
and continuing education, research and development,
and consultancy. The range of services is specifi cally
intended for the footwear industry, its suppliers, and
the footwear trade. One of ISC Germany’s unique
specialities is the design of customised practical training
programmes for technicians, purchasers, or sales
staff. These training sessions are developed entirely
in accord with clients’ individual needs and demands.
None of ISC Germany’s programmes comes “straight
off the peg”!

In order to ensure that a training programme ideally
matches a client’s individual requirements, ISC
Germany fi rst prepares a highly detailed training
concept which is coordinated point-by-point with
the respective client.
ISC Germany supports enterprises in the leather and
footwear industry in the qualifi cation of their employees
through its training and continuing education programme.
Its main activity lies in the development of
customised training courses. They are designed in close
cooperation with clients and directly address specifi c
requirements. Clients and partners rate the ability of
ISC to develop company-specifi c training programmes
for technicians, buyers, or sales staff as truly unique.
Teachers with a Wealth
of Practical Experience
ISC courses are taught both by highly qualifi ed inhouse
staff and by external lecturers who are all experienced
specialists in various areas. Precisely this network
of external trainers enables ISC to provide access
to practical know-how from a wide range of areas.
The training courses are held either at ISC headquarters
in Pirmasens – where the course participants can
put all their newly acquired theoretical knowledge
directly into practice in the state-of-the-art ISC training
factory – or on the premises of clients all over the
world, in English or German as desired. This ISC training
factory is an ultra-modern footwear production
line used for practical instruction and for production
of samples and for testing new production methods.
