Are you an Adult Catholic who has never been<br />

confirmed? Adult Catholics (age 18 and older)<br />

who have not yet received the Sacrament of<br />

Confirmation are invited to join other adult<br />

confirmand on Pentecost Sunday, May 19th at<br />

3:00pm at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen to<br />

celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation.<br />

A BRICK IS A GREAT GIFT!!<br />

Why not buy a BRICK from our<br />

<strong>Church</strong>scape program. The brick<br />

can be in their name as a one-ofa-kind<br />

gift from you. How special! It will live on<br />

forever! Bricks can be “purchased” ($100 per<br />

brick) for the Msgr. J.J. Cronin Memorial Garden<br />

in the courtyard between the <strong>Church</strong> and Parish<br />

Center OR in the memorial area dedicated to<br />

the Sisters of <strong>St</strong>. Francis by the school entrance.<br />

The 102nd Holy Name convention will be held<br />

at <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong> parish on May 11th. It will also be<br />

the 92nd anniversary for the <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong> chapter<br />

of the Holy Name. Please try to attend. Call<br />

Anthony Butt at 410-256-5683 or Don Prusak at<br />

410-256-2171 to make your reservation.<br />

The final meeting for this year will be on May<br />

7th at 7:30pm in the Parish Center. Please try to<br />

attend.<br />

TRAVELING CHALICE: Take home the<br />

Chalice and help pray for an increase in<br />

vocations and religious life. This was the<br />

Chalice that belonged to Msgr. J.<br />

Ambrose Quinn. He was a long time Pastor<br />

here at <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong>’s starting in 1942. He was<br />

responsible for many accomplishments<br />

including, expanding our current church<br />

property and raising the money to build our<br />

current church and school. Raising these funds<br />

was accomplished even during war times. He<br />

retired in 1967. Please sign up and take home<br />

the Chalice, when it is convenient. It is a nice<br />

piece of our history. There are simple prayers<br />

included. You can sign up at the back of<br />

church.<br />

<strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong>’s Summer Bible School<br />

WHO? This year we are taking Pre-K through current 4th grade students (completing the 4th<br />

grade in June, entering 5th grade in the Fall) to participate in SBS. <strong>St</strong>udents<br />

completing their 5th grade year may volunteer to help with SBS.<br />

WHAT? Your registration fee, per child, includes a <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Joseph</strong> Bible School T-shirt, a daily snack<br />

(cookies and juice) and much, much more.<br />

WHEN? Monday, June 24 th - Friday, June 28 th from 9:30am-12:30pm.<br />

Registration forms will be sent soon.
